We’re a multigenerational farm family that is passionate about raising Angus cattle that work in our southeastern climate and raising the next generation of cattlemen. Family has always been at the heart of what we do here at UHF. Each year on the first weekend in November, we have our annual production sale on the farm in Graceville, Florida where we feature two-year-old Angus bulls and bred heifers.
Dr. Terry Nichols, who most know as “Doc”, and his wife Rosa have raised five children. While each of their children contribute to the farm, two of them live on it currently and help run day-to-day operations alongside their families. Logan and Caroline Chappell (far left) have been an active part of UHF since they got married in 2019. Logan is a commercial ag loan officer at Farm Credit of Northwest Florida and Caroline spends her days wrangling their two boys, Emmett and Rhett. Charlie and Emma Nichols (far right) just recently moved back home this year. Charlie works in sales for Meherrin Ag and Emma is a dental hygienist at Doc’s office.
